Even though life seems very long, I have to disappoint you. It is not always a long experience. We never know what to expect. Does that scare you? It scared me. I love this life too much. There is a saying that people with an inner deep perception feel when something bad is going to happen. Anyway there is some magic and I just want to say that with not knowing our time here, we should explore, see and be more curious. I always say I am kind of a travel addict. I am interested in every culture, in every simple country.

I was born in Slovakia. A small country with a big potential. Reasons why to visit Bratislava? I can nominate a few of them. This year I have had there more than 5 own exhibitions of paintings. Was it good reason to see art in thecapital city? :D Of course there is more to see than galleries but my favourite are Nedbalka and Danubiana. Danubiana is located 15 minutes by car from Bratislava and is surrounded by the river Danube. You really need to see this stunning architecture. The best wayis toget there by boat. During the summer season this is possible. Second favourite one is Nedbalka - you can find it in an old town.

Every city also needs a fantastic place for scenery. I love for this reason two restaurants. The first one is called UFO and it really looks like some unidentified flying object. This restaurant offers an amazing view during the day. It is located on the pillars of Bratislava New Bridge. My favourite time to come there is before the sunset and stay until night. You are watching the sun going down over the Danube. The dim lights and candles together will ensure for you a special night. This place you will remember for sure. Second tip is Kamzík. I have to add that this December I am going to set up my exhibition over there and also Dalajlama had a lunch last week there. This place is a television tower, very secured. Try to find out which days the piano player plays there, you can sit, drink, listen good music and then go walk around the forests. 

You just can not miss the old city and Bratislava castle. I do not want to suggest you something strict, walk and you are going to find right streets around. I appreciate the place Slavín, it is a memorial monument and cemetery but expect, with thosesad facts, that there is some special energy. What more? Sandberg is anational natural preserve situated close to Bratislava, also with marvellous scenery. The unique fauna and flora, surrounded bysand this place is paleontologist´s dream. Petrified sand dunes forming natural ancient fortress. Winter dock, I have read that this place shows you the last remains of the oldest industrial zone in Bratislava. There are strong feelings of emptiness and rust. Actually I have never been there but next week I am going to find it. :D

Love goes through the stomach, also love for the country. In Slovakia you have to try a national food Bryndzové halušky or Parené buchty s makom, Slivkové gule. Try for that restaurant Biofarma Príroda in Stupava, is close from Bratislava.
